About Us
Arabian Gold's strategy is to be a 'first mover' focussing on the highly prospective and under explored Archaean geology of the Arabian Shield. We aim to find the next generation of gold mines in the emerging Middle East mining industry.
We have undertaken field visits and applied for several licence areas, all of which host historical gold mining occurrences. Upon grant of the licences fieldwork, in conjunction with further regional target generation based upon the compilation of a Shield-wide geographic information system (GIS), is aimed at targeting new and as yet unclassified mineral resources.
Arabian Gold's decision to move into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was based upon well placed, established local contacts, a revised and attractive Mining Code (2005), the highly prospective and under explored geology and a global source of investment capital.
By the end of 2009, Arabian Gold intends to have completed detailed, first-pass exploration across its current licences and to have applied to additional ground on the basis of regional fieldwork and GIS target generation. Positive results will provide the basis for additional rounds of private financing and may ultimately support an IPO on a market such as the London PLUS or Toronto TSXV.
