David Netherway
Position: Non-executive Chairman


Mr. Netherway received a B.E. in Mining Engineering from the University of Melbourne in 1975 and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom in 1985. Mr. Netherway is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He was until the recent takeover by Gryphon Mineral Ltd (GRY-ASX), the CEO of Shield Mining Limited, an Australian listed company exploring for gold and base metals in Mauritania. Prior to this, Mr. Netherway served as the CEO of Toronto listed Afcan Mining Corporation, a China focussed gold mining company which was successfully taken over by Eldorado Gold. He is also a former director of Orezone Resources Inc. Kazakhgold Ltd and Equigold NL. Mr Netherway is a mine developer and operator who was involved in the construction and development of the Iduapriem, Siguiri and Kiniero gold mines in West Africa and has mining experience which includes Australia, India, Nepal, Oman and Malaysia. Mr. Netherway has also held senior management positions in a number of mining companies, including Golden Shamrock Mines, Ashanti Goldfields, GMA Resources plc (AIM: GMA), and Semafo Inc.

Mr Netherway is currently the Chairman of Afferro Mining Inc (TSX: AUR & AIM: AAAM), Altus Strategies Ltd and Asterion AV Ltd. He is also a non-executive director of Gryphon Minerals Ltd (GRY-ASX), Crusader Resources Limited (ASX:CAS) and Altus Resource Capital Ltd (LSE: ARCL) and Non-executive Chairman & Director of Aureus Mining Inc (AUM: AUE) and Kilo Goldmines Ltd (TSX: KGL).

 
Steven Poulton
Position: Director


Steven is the Chief Executive and co-founder of ALTUS Strategies and a director of Altus Capital Ltd, the investment manager of Altus Resource Capital Ltd [LSE:ARCL]. He holds an honours degree in geology from Southampton University and a master's degree in mining geology from the Camborne School of Mines. Steven worked for Mano River between 1998 and 2005. In 2002 he co-founded Ariana Resources which listed on AIM in 2005 [AIM:AAU], in 2004 he founded African Aura Resources which listed on the TSX-V in 2008 and, through its merger with Mano River in 2009, created African Aura Mining which subsequently split into Afferro Mining [TSX-V/AIM:AFF] and Aureus Mining [TSX-V/AIM:AUE]. He is a director of Stellar Diamonds [AIM:STEL]. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and a member of the Association of Mining Analysts.


 
Mr Gulaid Gulaid
Position: Director


Gulaid Gulaid is President & CEO of the CIT Group which has business and investment interests in mining services, gold resources, environmental services, general contracting, and general maintenance & cleaning world wide. He is also Deputy CEO of Saudi Canadian Mining Services which has been providing drilling and mining services to the Saudi minerals sector for over 13 years. Gulaid has a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Surrey, and Royal Holloway University of London respectively and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. He is also a member of the Canadian Diamond Drilling Association and the National Drilling Association.


 
Matthew Grainger
Position: Corporate Development



Matthew Grainger is a UK based economic geologist with over 10 years experience in the junior resource sector. Matthew graduated with Honours in Earth Science in 1997 and subsequently completed a Master's degree in Mining Geology at the Camborne School of Mines. In 2002, he co-founded AIM listed Ariana Resources where he was Operations Director until 2006. Thereafter, he became the Chief Operating Officer and a director of TSX-V listed African Aura Resources prior to its merger with Mano River in 2009 to become African Aura Mining. In 2007, Matthew co-founded ALTUS Strategies. He has a significant track record of project and operations management & raising finance in the junior resource sector. Matthew is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a member of the Association of Mining Analysts.

 
Greg Owen
Position: VP Corporate Development



Greg was previously Business Development Manager for London (AIM) listed Metals Exploration Plc and was closely involved in progressing that company's flagship Runruno gold-molybdenum project in the Philippines. Greg was involved in a number of equity financings and corporate transactions including the offer by Solomon Capital in July 2010, and was also responsible for both investor and public relations. Greg holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Plymouth.

 
Drew Craig
Position: Technical Advisor


Drew Craig specialises in early stage project development and remote exploration as well as GIS, QA/QC and logistics. He has been been employed globally with a number of major and junior mining companies. Drew graduated with Honours in Geology from the University of St Andrews in 1997 and spent time in the Aberdeen oil industry before completing a Master's degree in Mineral Exploration at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College (1999). Drew joined Altus in 2007 after spending seven years as a Senior Associate Exploration Geologist with SRK Exploration Services Ltd. At Altus he was responsible for the AGC country-entry programme, target generation and operational development. Drew left Altus in 2010 to develop his consultancy practice, but remains active with AGC as an advisor on technical and operational matters.
